Our mission to Stop the Cuomo Tax has always hinged on one thing: thousands of New Yorkers banding together to send a strong message that it’s unfair. It’s just not right to impose a $7.6 billion bailout for dangerous, failing nuclear plants on New Yorkers who already pay some of the highest utility rates in the nation. Instead, New York should invest in safe, efficient, truly green alternatives. And we’re going to keep bringing that fight to Governor Cuomo’s doorstep.
Tomorrow, Gov. Cuomo will be hosting his annual birthday fundraiser in New York City. This is a perfect opportunity to show him how normal New Yorkers — not the wealthy donors, lobbyists, and executives that he’s used to running with — truly feel about the Cuomo Tax. We want you to join us at this fundraiser. Can you save the date?
Join us outside the Longacre Theater on December 6 to send a message to Governor Cuomo that this disastrous nuclear bailout needs to be sent back to the drawing board.

Nearly 800,000 New York taxpayers can’t afford to pay their electric bills. Meanwhile, Gov. Cuomo will be cozying up to wealthy donors, lobbyists, and corporate officers during his annual birthday fundraiser in just a few weeks. And we want to take that opportunity to let him know how we feel.
Say ‘NO’ to the Cuomo Tax. Save the date for Cuomo’s birthday fundraiser and let’s show him how New Yorkers really feel about his plan to take $7.6 billion from our pockets to subsidize unsafe, inefficient nuclear plants owned by a wealthy Chicago corporation.
This is a great opportunity to send a message to the governor, and we can’t wait to see you all on Tuesday!
